1. Data controller

2. What data we collect

  • Waitlist data: the name and email address you enter in the waitlist form, the date you signed up and the page section you signed up from.
  • Technical data: standard server logs kept by our hosting provider (such as IP address, browser type and request time), used only to operate and secure the website.

We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking tools on this website.

3. Why we use it and on what legal basis

  • To manage the waitlist and contact you about access to AlgoSpells, based on your request to join it (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, steps taken at your request before a contract).
  • To keep the website running and secure, based on our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
  • To comply with legal obligations, where applicable (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).

We do not sell your data and we do not use it for automated decision-making.

4. Who processes it for us

We use the following providers, who act as data processors on our behalf:

  • Supabase, Inc. (database that stores waitlist entries)
  • Vercel, Inc. (website hosting and delivery)

Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where they do, transfers rely on the safeguards required by the GDPR, such as the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses.

5. How long we keep it

We keep waitlist data until you ask us to remove it, or until the waitlist is no longer needed, whichever comes first. Server logs are kept for the short period set by our hosting provider.

6. Your rights

You can ask us at any time to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its processing, or to receive it in a portable format. Write to admin@algospells.io. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, www.garanteprivacy.it).

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as AlgoSpells evolves. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed.
